What’s our story?

ProperComms was founded so that it’s team could use their experience and insight to offer commercially-minded marketing, particularly for the UK’s small and medium sized businesses, the backbone of Britain’s economy. It’s founders particularly understand how the sales and marketing functions of a business can work together, both at a strategic and tactical level.

Our experience in commercial and marketing backgrounds means we create marketing campaigns with a focus on delivering real sales growth and results. Collectively, we have worked in a number of industry sectors, including logistics, graphic design, print, professional services, leisure and manufacturing. This experience covers a range of businesses, from SMEs to international businesses.

Simon Davies

Commercial Director

Simon’s fantastic organisational ability ensures the smooth day to day running of the business and his ‘can do’ attitude makes for strong relationships with our clients. With a strong sales & commercial background, Simon really helps our clients get the best return on their investment in marketing.

Tara Smith

Social Media & Community

Tara delivers the social media content and campaigns for our clients and is our digital whizz-kid, keeping up with the latest online trends. She creates compelling online content to drive our clients’ digital strategies forwards, helping them get the right messages to the right audience in the right way.

Marc Jenkins

Design & Development

Marc is our graphic designer and developer. He has a fantastic combination of creative ability coupled with technical know-how to make your website or project happen. He works on the kind of websites that really get our clients noticed, with the skills behind the scenes to create a seamless user experience.

Ste is a talented illustrator, who works on everything from book covers to animations. He gets a real kick from drawing and creating bespoke images, which help our clients bring a unique edge to their projects.
